Wynnlodge operate a helpdesk for their OPAS customers.  This is manned from 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday.  All other times will be covered by an answer machine.  Although we can respond to problems/queries sent to us by email, if you require a prompt response then we should be contacted by telephone on 01904 492425.

OPAS 7+ NOW AVAILABLE

 
     
 
OPAS 7+ was released this summer and has been installed in several of our hospitals already. Uptake for the new version has been wonderful but sadly that means all our upgrade days for this year have now been booked.
 
     
 
Our earliest available dates are currently in January 2011, but please give us a call, or drop us an email, if you would like to arrange a date for getting version 7+.
 
     
   
     
 

LogMeIn Rescue is a web-based remote support tool that, when initiated by you, enables us to look at your computer from our office. There is no need for any software to be installed on your PC, and as long as you have a working connection to the Internet, the physical distance between us is irrelevant.

Using attended remote support means that we can only take actions with your explicit consent. Each time we need to take a new action (for example, seeing which processes are currently running) a dialog box is displayed on your screen explicitly asking you to allow this action.

We understand the strict need for security within the NHS and recommend that if your IT/Security Department needs clarification of the procedures used by this tool they should read LogMeIn's "Security - An In Depth Look", and "Rescue Architecture - An Overview".
